LYNN WEILIN BIO
Lynn Weilin was born in Huhhot, China. She earned her BFA degree from the painting department at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing (CAFA) in 2016. She went to the US in 2018 for her further education.
2016-2018 she worked in Beijing as an artist, art teacher, and art business activities curator.
Lynn Weilin has participated in some international famous brand art activities, including Mercedes Benz, Epson, and BMW. In 2017, she was invited by Benz International as a special guest artist in Mercedes Benz International Fashion Week in Beijing. From 2016-2017, she was a guest artist in Burning Life Zero Basic Painting.
For art teaching position, Lynn Weilin work as an instructor and lecturer for some art schools and art education institutions, such as Aixin School in New York, CGGJ Art School in Beijing, Van Gogh Art High School in Guangxi, Huqing art school in Beijing, XYXX Art School in Beijing, and the second high school in Zibo.
Lynn Weilin has her work nationally and internationally, including solo and group shows in China, the US, and Korea. Lynn Weylin’s work has been shown at Daxin Museum, Bexco Exhibition Center, Zhonghai Plaza, Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, CAFA Museum, Taisho Humanities Museum25 East Gallery, Aura Art Gallery, The Factory of LIC, La Galleria at La Mama, Artosino Gallery, Greenpoint Gallery, Deep White Space, Meiheyuan Art Center. Over the years, Lynn Weylin’s work has appeared in NBC2 NEWS, XingyiWeb, 51AirGallery Art News, Traffic in Art.
In 2016, Lynn Weilin was awarded Academic Awards of her work, Whisper of Wind. The same year, she was conferred the Selected High-level Talent Training Project of Colleges and Universities in Beijing and 20,000RMB grant. In 2018, Lynn Weilin was awarded SVA scholarship.
